Greek Salad

Read about Greek Salad which is a summer salad made with Kalamata olives and feta cheese. Here is my adaptation using the ingredients that I could manage to get hold here in KL. I went for some non-salty black olives in can from Spain with some apetina cheese.   

Greek Salad
2 tomatoes, wedged
2 cucumbers, cut to rounds
1/3 red capsicum, cube cut
1/3 green capsicum, cube cut
1/2 cup pitted black olives
2/5 block (80 g) feta cheese, cubed
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
2 TBsp olive oil
2.5 TBsp lemon juice
1/2 TBsp chopped fresh oregano
1/2 tsp yellow mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
a dash of ground black pepper
a little pinch of sugar

servings: 3 ~ 4

1. Whisk all the dressing ingredients till blended.
2. Chill all the salad ingredients before preparing. Make the necessary cutting. Toss the salad and cheese with the dressing.
3. Chill the salad a while before serving.

This Greek-style salad was so easy to prepare. For me, it tasted like lemony yogurt salad. I like it. Will toss in some pasta also if of the next time.
